Daniel “Danny” Rupert, 71, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Danny was the son of the late Patricia Melton and Wilbur Rupert. Danny owned and operated his own car business, Discount Auto for many years. He was a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast, spending his time looking for that one special project to restore. A collector of classic and rare cars. In 1967 Danny met Joyce and went on to have two cherished children, Daniel Christopher Rupert, Lori (Mike) Cremeans he is a beloved grandfather to, Michael Willey, Madisyn Willey; siblings, Susan (Gary) Tackett and Jeffrey Lee. Danny was preceded in death by his brothers, George Lee and Jerry Rupert. Calling will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from noon till 2 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. A Graveside Service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Humane of Fort Wayne.
