Obituary for Daniel Fultz

Daniel H. Fultz, 75, formerly of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, in Florida. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Daniel was the son of the late Herbert and Juanita (Weaver) Fultz. Daniel graduated in 1965 from New Haven High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Daniel worked for International Harvester for over 30 years, prior to his retirement. He was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and School. Dan loved spending time on Lake Manitou skiing and speed boating. He spent countless hours playing and coaching sports. Dan loved riding his Goldwing motorcycle, watching stock car racing, and rooting for the Minnesota Vikings. “Go Vikes!” Surviving are his children, Stephanie (Kurt) Hargens, Nicole (Jim) Hunt, Craig (Bridget) Fultz; grandchildren, Anneliese, Katarina, Sophia, Nicholas, Cooper, Lucy, Maximilian, Scarlett; siblings, Janet Meyers, Guy Bookout, Nancy (Dean) Hunter, Nancy June Falls, and many nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Bruick, Betty Jury, David Fultz, Phyllis Jontz, Virginia Scott, Mary Fultz, Ed Fultz, and Helen Dillon. A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm with Army Honors and a celebratory toast to take place at 4 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
