Daniel P. Edquid, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at St Vincent Hospice of Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Mt. Vernon, MI and was the son to the late Arthur Edquid and Linda Edquid of Fort Wayne. Dan attended County Line Church of God for the past 25 years. You could find him in the Tech booth for many of those years. He worked in the banking industry as a field engineer for over 30 years. His passion was working and ended his career at QSI. He always had a smile on his face and loved to be around his family, friends, and food. But his grandkids stole his heart. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rowena Edquid of Fort Wayne; daughters, Carrie (Matt) Billings of Fort Wayne, and Kristen (James) Cowart of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Madelyn, Blake, Megan, JD, and Molly; siblings, Lily Edquid of Fort Wayne, Mark Edquid of Wilmington, NC, Arlene (Tim) Yow and Don Edquid both of Fayetteville, NC. Rowena, I can’t tell you how very sorry I was to hear of Dan’s passing! I am SO sorry! This is just such a crazy time and feel so bad that you are unable to have a service where myself and other’s could attend a service for him and give you a Hug of support! Please extend my sympathy to Carrie and Kristen! I am sure you are all hurting! Dan was a good man, husband and father! He will be missed! I found out from Wayne you moved close to me! Don’t know when that was, but I am very close and want to get together when we are able! My cell number works though, so please call after things settle down! 437-7795 Meanwhile I lift you and the girls in prayer! I know Dan was a faithful believer in Jesus! I hope you find some comfort in knowing he is at peace in His loving arms and free from his pain and suffering! I pray the Peace of the Lord be with you and the girls during this time of unfathomable grief!

So sorry to hear about Dan. My thoughts and prayers are with his family to be comforted during this time. I enjoyed seeing him at County Line and catching up with him in between services. He will be missed but I know he is in a better place.
