Daniel Bartnick, age 78, passed away September 20, 2018 in Fort Wayne. He was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Mitchell and Virginia Bartnick. Daniel worked for KV Pharmaceuticals for 2 years and more recently as a chemist with Sensient Flavors for over 30 years. He was a member of the Society of Flavor Chemists, the American Chemical Society, and the Institute of Food Technologists. He is survived by his son, Daniel (Cheryl) Bartnick of Fort Wayne; daughter, Denise Mineart of Indianapolis, IN; 1 grandson, Kyle Bartnick; brothers, Mitchell (Judy) Bartnick and Jim Bartnick both of St. Louis,MO; sister-in-law, Marcy Bartnick of St. Louis, MO; Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Bartnick; and brother, Ronald Bartnick. Service is 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior beginning at 11:00am. Burial at Riverview Cemetery.
