Dana L. Hammond, age 62, passed away September 28, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to F. Darrell Hammond and Geneva Hammond. Dana will be remembered as a loving mother who enjoyed caring for her family, friends, and her dog, Delanie. She is survived by her three children, Stephanie Frazier of Fort Wayne, Heath Gaham of Fort Wayne, and Nick (Hannah) Gaham of Churubusco, IN; 7 grandchildren; her siblings, Vickie (Steve Ries) Hunt, Pam (Marty) Herr, and Junior (Brenda) Hammond all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Darren Hammond; grandmother, Virginia Hammond; and her niece, Alexandra Herr. Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St, with calling one hour prior. Calling also Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
