Clarence W. Bratton, 81, passed away Friday, September16, 2022. Born in Jonesboro Hodge, Louisiana, Clarence was a son of the late William Bratton and Martha Vaughn. He worked for General Motors for 23 years prior to working from Concordia Seminary for 5 years. He was a member of Headwaters Church. Clarence enjoyed working on cars, collecting model cars, listening to music, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family, especially playing “The Bear Game” with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Carol Bratton; children, Raymond (Lorrie) Bratton, Tonya McCauley, Stephanie (Tate Pitre) McCurnin, Cherie Parker, Tammy (Linda) Printz, Shawnda (Shawn) Champagne, Heather (Ross) Lawrence; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother, Frazier (Penny) Bratton. Clarence was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Bracken. Service is 11 am, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the funeral home from 4 pm to 7 pm. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
