Dear Uncle Donald and Deanna,
We were so saddened by Aunt Clare's passing, and we will miss her terribly. Although she is no longer with us, She is now with Michael.......I can picture them together in the little brown Datsun listening to the oldies! I have so many memories of that car, driving through Port Charlotte , with the oldies playing.... Michael row your boat ashore, Hit the road Jack, and many many more.
I love you and wanted you to know that i am here for you and We are thinking of you and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Love Lisa and Family

I am so sad to hear of Clare's passing. We met over 14 years ago online. We played bingo, and other games together, we even worked in a fake online casino called interBet together, helping others with computer problems when they couldn't get into play, we laughed, we share our worries, we shared our exciting news of grandchildren, and Deanna she spoke of you all throughout the years. I felt at times I knew you, even though we have never met. Your mother loved you with her whole being. We were like best friends but many miles apart. We worked together in a fake online casino for many years together helping others work out their computer problems. Until that one day she said she would love to come and visit so we could meet. I was really excited to finally get to meet my friend. It was quite the meeting, prior to her visit we both had decided to quit smoking, so everyday we would chat online and tell of our woes about not smoking and how hard it was. This went on for months but I thought this is great even though it was tough we did it together long distance. So they day she flew in I met her at the airport, we were both so excited to finally meet. I couldn't wait to get home and introduce her to my family and my brand new grandson, when she started to hum and haw as we were getting her bags. She finally turned to me and said June did you really quit smoking?? I thought that is a weird question as she quietly asked me. I said why yes I did, why would you ask that, (I still think about that moment today and smile) she smiled just a little bit, looked at me and said, ummmmm I am sorry but I wasn't able to quit. I said that is ok you can try again sometime. All the while she couldn't wait to go outside and smoke, but knowing I thought she had quit, she had to tell me soon as she could because she really wanted to go outside it was a long flight. LOL I looked at her and said, I am sorry it didn't work for you and maybe someday it will, but we are good and yeah lets go outside for a minute :-) That day she also traveled all the way to the east coast with a special lasagna her husband Don had cooked for us. Thanks Don, the lasagna made it safely and it was wonderful. We had a fantastic time, you never would have known that was the first time we saw each other. We jammed in as many things we could, she got to meet my family, she enjoyed her New England fresh lobster and spent time with my brand new grandson. Everyone loved Clare. I was so happy that we finally got to meet after many years of friendship. She went back home to be with her family, but we continued to be friends throughout the years. Rest in peace my friend I will miss you. I am happy you went peacefully, I do know your family will miss you tremendously, but I hope they know how much you were loved by many people and that you are in a wonderful place now. May God's love and peace be of some comfort for you Don and Deanna and the rest of Clare's family. Until we meet again my friend, love you and miss you.
