Christian Noah Rogers, 16, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 3, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Christian was a loving son of Christopher and Penny (Bortner) Rogers. Christian attended Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School where he loved playing sports and was currently a junior at Anthis Career Center and North Side High School. Christian will forever be the amazing, smart, fun, friendly, and life of the party that God made him to be. He was the kind of son you loved to have, the wonderful brother that you wanted around, and the friend that was always there for you. Christian was an avid MMA fan especially a fan of Charles Oliveira, cheering for the Detroit Lions, DragonBall Z, and loved the painter, Bob Ross. Surviving are his parents, Chris and Penny; siblings, Michael and Hailey; grandparents, Glen Rogers, Harry Taylor, John (Norma) Bortner; great-grandma, Nannie Bricker; and many loving aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Christian was preceded in death by his grandmas, Kathy Rogers, and Linda Taylor. A Celebration of Christian’s Life will be 6 pm, Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W. California Road, with calling from 2 pm until the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Christian to the Christian Rogers Scholarship Fund, in care of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School.
