Obituary for Carole Ann Masel (Pulver)
Carole Ann Masel, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born to the late Lester and Florence Elizabeth (McKimmy) Pulver in Fort Wayne on October 23, 1940. She was a member of Woodburn Missionary Church. She married the late David Masel on June 20, 1959.
Carole is survived by her three sons, Thomas W. (Cindy) Masel of Fort Wayne, Timothy A. (Connie) Masel of Woodburn and Tony F. (Tony) Masel, Brownsburg, Ind.; four grandchildren, Justin (Brittney), Chelsea (Mitch), Zach (Nara), and Nick (Diana); and four great-grandchildren, Avary, Izabella, Chris and Bella; siblings, Mary Ellen Hillegas, Barbara (Russell) Hutson, William (Ruth) Pulver, Daniel (Deb) Pulver, Steven (Nancy) Pulver, Stanley (Wendy) Pulver, Karl (Lisa) Pulver, and Christian (Kara) Pulver; and sister-in-law, Ilene Pulver. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip and David Pulver; sister-in-law, Mary Mae Pulver; and brother-in-law, J.R. Hillegas.
Funeral service will be on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will follow the service to Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
