Beverly J. Messmann, 62, passed on into the Arms of Jesus Saturday, October 6, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Beverly was the daughter of the late Paul and Barb Wurm. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister to her family. She enjoyed her many years in Hawaii and cherished her time spent with her family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Gary Messmann; children, Luke (Amber) Messmann, Jessica (Rick) Artime; grandchildren, Bella, Violet, Havana, Meira, and Adrian; wonderful sisters, Val Burns, Leslie Cearbaugh; special aunts and uncles, Virginia Simons, Janet Foreman, Dick Walters; niece, Danielle Deam; father-in-law, Robert Messmann; brother-in-laws, Carl Wayne Deam, Greg (Marianne) Messmann; sister-in-laws, Linda Messmann, Gina (Kim) Graft; great friends, Janet (John) Herman, Roberta (Eric) Kuhlhorst, Sally (Jeff) Hamilton, Twylla Carnahan, Tonya Freed, and Barbie Wurm. Beverly was preceded in death by her aunt, Lavera Punkey Walters; mother-in-law, Alice Messmann, and brother-in-law, Grant Messmann. Service is 11 am, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St, with calling one hour prior. Calling at the funeral home, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the family. The family would like to thank the nurses at Visiting Nurse who cared for Beverly during her time of illness.
