Obituary for Beverly Gail "Gail" Kosiarek (Thompson)

Beverly “Gail” Kosiarek, 80 years young, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Gail was a daughter of the late James and Nellie Thompson. Gail worked many years at the Savoy Dress Shop prior to her working for Lancia Homes. Gail enjoyed being active in their card and dance club alongside her husband Dick. She loved spending time by the water at Lake James, in Florida or Cancun. Gail enjoyed spending time with her friends and enjoying her dinner parties with them. Everyone enjoyed Gail’s unique sense of humor. Talking on the phone connecting with others was an important part of her life. She recently embraced modern technology and signed up for Facebook and got an IPad to the delight of her friends and family. Gail was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, Kimberly Anderson, Terri (Jeff) Beauchot, Carole (Scott) Auer, Richard A. (Paige) Kosiarek II; special angel, Victoria; grandchildren, Erica, Neil, Nick, Nikki, Jamie, Ali, Annika, Nadia; and great-grandchildren, Layla, Bennet, Ava, and Mayla. Gail was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard A. Kosiarek; siblings, LaVerne and Faye. Mass of Christian Ressurection will be 1 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
