Benjamin “Ben or BJ” Patten, 43, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 15th. Ben was born in Greenville, South Carolina, at a young age he moved to Indiana and was raised in Churubusco and Fort Wayne. He graduated from Snider High School. Ben was an extremely talented painter and was always looking for the next remodeling project. He was the owner of Project Professionals contracting business. In his free time Ben enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, and listening to music. His greatest joy was spending time with his son, Levi.
Ben is survived by his son, Levi; significant other, Susan; parents, Pastor Greg and Sharon Patten; siblings, Jeremy, Jason “Jake”, Rachel Hochstedler, Rebekah Webb, and Sarah Patten, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial service for Ben will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 19th, 2022 at The Cross Church, 5300 Winchester Rd. with calling 2 hours prior. Preferred memorials in Ben’s honor may be directed to The Cross Church. Arrangements entrusted to FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
