Obituary for Barbara Ann Quick (Brown)
Barbara Ann Quick passed away at the age of 84 in Fort Wayne, Indiana surrounded by her 4 children.
Barbara Ann Brown was born in Iowa on July 25, 1938, the only child of Walter and Marguerite Brown. She studied art at Northwestern College in Illinois. She was retired from Sears as their display designer. A woman of strong faith, she attended St. Joe United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. Her favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3:5-6.
Barb was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years John R. Langdon. She is survived by her husband John Quick, children Jane (Kevin) Flowers, John (Wendy) Langdon, Jeff (Erin) Langdon, Joe Langdon, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
In her spare time if Barb wasn't with family or friends, you would often find her enjoying arts and crafts. She was an incredible encourager of others. Barb never shied away from sharing her faith and she had an amazing impact on all those she knew and loved. Barb will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 19 at 10:00am, at St. Joe Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Rd., Fort Wayne.
